Hello again everyone. So, the news I mentioned in my last post is this - I now have my own studio space & and art blog!

My second piece of news is this - I am taking up traditional art. As those who watch me will know, until now I have been an exclusively digital artist but I'm finally going to be picking up a set of paint brushes
This is my very first piece -

I've been wanting to create a new brush set for some time now because of the success & feedback I've had from these sets but don't really know what to make. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Also thank you to all who fav my sets, as before with my brushes I unfortunately wont be able to thank you all individually but I really do appreciate it.

Apologies to all who have fav'ed my work and left me comments, for my lack of response. I haven't been particularly active on here for quite some time now, aside from the occasional upload, but I have something in the works at the moment and some news which I look forward to sharing in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully if all goes well I should become more active on here again and have several new pieces to share.

Just a little update to say I've finally caught up with all my messages.. I'll try to keep on top of them this time
And also to give a litte update on my current WIPs. Who knows, I may even finish some of these ones

I've let my messages stack up a bit over the last few months as I have only been dropping in every now and then. I am going to try and reply now but I have a 100 or so to get through so it may take me a bit.

It really is time I got a new feature so at some point I will be collecting some work to feature here. It will probably be composed of a mix of personal favorites from around deviant art, thumbshare work and work of those who have donated to me.

This is a crop of a piece I'm currenly working on called 'The Dreamcatcher'.
Its 4200x6720px.. My computer dislikes this It's coming along quite nicely though and has given me an idea for a new brush set. Speaking of which-

Not long ago I started a thread in thumbshare to find some new art to feature. I've got a few but I would like to collect quite a lot to feature along with the announcement of my website in the new year so I am probably going to start a few more threads before actually putting the feature up.

It is ~The-Golden-FooL's Birthday on sunday, so Happy birthday you.. even though I'll see you before then and on the day as well .

I have come to the conclusion that my Muse has a spilt personality; I can go for weeks, sometimes months with no inspiration and little or no desire to draw and then out of no where I get a ton of ideas and (because I have no discipline) I end up trying to do them all at once and fail to complete anything.

For example, for a week or two I couldn't think of any ideas and didn't do a single bit of art then I randomly start drawing and come up with this:



Which I am quite pleased with (despite it being unfinished and very hard to do on account of my sucking at trees). Then, just before work, I think of another idea (which if I do will prob be one of the most intricate and time consuming pieces iv ever done). And then on the way to work (in the space of about 15 minutes) I had 3 more ideas (one of which came to me while thinking about the split personality muse thing)
so I ended up having to grab a bit of scrap paper from the locker room (for once I was glad nobody seems to clean in there) and write down as much as I could about the ideas so I wouldn't forget them lol
And then I had another one on the way back from work which I completely forgot about until I wrote this

I figure its about time I feature a new artist, as ~Regochan has been feature for 3 months now even though I was going to change it monthly lol shes just that good

Also I'm going to start a journal feature (will start a thumbshare thread shortly to find some to feature)
so if anyone is running competitions and needs a prize I wouldn't mind giving the winner a feature (I know its not a fabulous prize as my page only gets between 3 and 7 (10 or so on a good day) views a day but every little helps )
